Ice Dispenses Continuously

If ice dispenses continuously, check the ice gate mechanism, which may be stuck in the open position. Inspect the gasket for proper positioning. Make sure the ice gate is able to slide freely behind the lower ice chute. You may have to clean the back of the ice chute.

Note: If the ice gate is stuck open it can cause the reed switch to stay closed which will cause continuous agitation and dispensing of ice.
