Expansion Tank

As the product freezes and expands in the barrel it overflows into the expansion tank. The Viper Elite incorporates a smaller expansion tank and uses a pressure transducer to monitor the tank. Earlier version Viper units had larger expansion tanks and mechanical fill switches instead of transducers.  Backwards compatible kits are available to upgrade to pressure transducers and the smaller expansion tanks.
