The water flow is factory adjusted for 1.6 to 1.7 ounces per second and is not to be field adjusted. The flow control pistons are different orifice sizes, the water is larger and the syrup is smaller. When looking at the front of the unit the water flow control is on the right and the syrup is on the left. Both coils always energize at the same time. When the brix needs to be adjusted turn only the syrup adjusting screw CW for a higher flowrate and brix reading or turn the syrup adjusting screw CCW for a lower flowrate and a lesser brix reading. When activated, the flow of both water and syrup pass-thru check valves and into a T fitting where the water and syrup mix to become a uniform FCB product.
Note: An additional way to purge or flush water or syrup lines is by manually pressing in and holding the valve coil plunger.
