Hot Gas Solenoid
The hot gas solenoid opens up to let high temperature, high-pressure gas from the compressor discharge directly into the freeze barrels for defrosting of the frozen product. The hot gas valve and solenoid and the liquid line valve and solenoid are identical components. The coil is 24VAC and has a value of 13.8 ohms. Each freeze barrel has its own hot gas valve and solenoid coil.
