Hot Gas Valve

The output of the hot gas valve connected to the inlet of the evaporator bypasses the AEV and LLS when open. When the Viper goes into defrost, manual or Intelligent Defrost©, the hot gas valve opens and hot, high pressure discharge gas flows from the compressor thru the copper tubing around evaporator (foam pack).The hot gas then transfers heat to the frozen product in the freeze barrel and changes product from a frozen state to a liquid state.

Note: Only use factory replacement components.

Note: Voltage is 24Vac and Resistance is 13.8 ohms +/- 10%.

Note: The liquid line solenoid and the hot gas solenoid are the same coil and valve.
