Sub Cooler Coil

The sub cooler coil is an “S” shaped copper coil located within the foam pack on the underside of the freeze barrels. Its purpose is to help prevent condensation from forming on the bottom of the foam pack. Also, the saturated refrigerant is sub-cooled to below the boiling point to insure pure liquid enters the AEV.
