Brix Issue Low

The nominal brix reading is 13.5 to 14.0. If the brix reading for a barrel is low check the following:

1. Improperly adjusted syrup or water flow control

2. Low CO2 pressure causing the syrup sold out to short cycle

3. High water pressure causing water to leak through flow control banjo

4. Water solenoid sticking open

5. Syrup solenoid sticking closed

6. Compare brix at sample tube to brix in barrel. If different, check flow path to barrel.
