Refrigeration Leak

In a Viper unit, there are many brazed joints and refrigeration components with the potential for leaking refrigerant. Listed are the more common components to check:

1. Evaporator (foam pack): inlet, outlet and around faceplate.

2. Accumulator

3. Receiver

4. Condenser

5. All brazed joints

Note: pressurize with nitrogen and use bubbles to check. A sniffer may pick up traces of refrigerant in foam.
